I need a getaway. Serious.I was on IM on Facebook the other night with some of my posse: Bluesgirl. Jen. McVittie. I enjoyed one of the best weekends of my life with some of these girls (and a few key others, SR, Jan) when we took a reckless roadtrip to Memphis and Tupelo a year or so back. I'm ready for another one.
We talked about a trek to Mexico. Economic times being what they are, that may be a bit extravagant. All I know is that I need a getaway with these delightful friends. So I'll throw it out for dialogue. Let's do a roadtrip to Maine. Snow, campfires, lumberjacks. What do you say gals? SR? Caryl? Kenz? Jan? Ela? Jules? It could be ever so dangerous and utterly delightful. Come on, leave the kids at home, get on a plane or bus and let's get busy.

You should come down to Annapolis for Saturday, February 7th!!! We are going to see Taylor that evening for an acoustic show around 11 pm at Rams Head.
Yeah, I'm not much into Taylor anymore, but getting together would be fun!
C&W, That deserted stretch of road ( in the picture) reminds me of the route we drove between between Memphsis and Tupelo. The only thing missing is Johnny's Drive-In. Dough Burgers anyone?

If you're into some instant gratification, a few of us are going to -- don't laugh -- Ohio to see Taylor play one of his "intimate club tour" dates this coming Saturday. We could meet up for a quickie and then plan something more grand for a later date. What do you think? Ohio would never be the same.
We WOULD put the "OH!" in Ohio, SR. That's for sure.
