One part bucolic springtime. Utilize copious magnolia tree blooms
Add a dash of 78 degree weather
Four cups of springtime blossoms
Two heaping tablespoons of bulbs
And then season with this badass
Yield:A glorious spring day until we drove home from work. Thanks to the Pope's visit here to NYC (which ensured a full closure of Manhattan's East side) Hollaback and I enjoyed nearly a three hour commute home.Serve: Steaming hot, garnished with communion wafers and nasturtium.
Enjoy.

Do I detect a hint of grumpiness?
I seriously don't know how you keep up the pace you described in your last entry. I'd be so exhausted I couldn't even have a blog if I lived your life! Brava for stopping and smelling the roses, or whatever is blooming!!

Yes, Jules. I was grumpy. It had been such a horrific week that all I wanted to do when I left work on Friday was to get home, put on a pair of shorts, have a glass of wine, order some take out Thai food and just chill. The delay from this ultimate purpose made me very grumpy indeed.

Holy Mary Mother of Christ! I know exactly what you mean.
