A Succinct Summary

The late great Dorothy Parker said it best in her poem "Resume":

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.
--Dorothy Parker

But this is also the woman who said "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker." I'm open to all options.

I can't help but notice that Dorothy Parker doesn't tell you all the bad things living does!

Mmmmm....candy....

Just taking a wild stab here, but are you still having a tough time at work?

Candy and liquor are fine but nothing soothes the pain like reading my friends' blogs and comments. Thanks, y'all!

1lb thick cut bacon &
1 bottle fine wine&
1 bar dark chocolate or
1 pint premium ice cream...

If that doesn't improve life I don't know what will.

You are so right, Jules. I know you know.

You had me bacon, Sarah!!

Life is challenging, Caryl, yes. Yet a night on the online chat with you gals cures a multitude of evils. When is the next gabfest? Sunday? I am so there.

One of my favorites! Courage, dear!

I WANNA CHAT!!! Seriously, I miss the gabfests. Where do y'all gather? Is it somewhere I'm banned from?

Probably.
