Autumn in New York...at least on Long Island...descended today at 5:15 am and marked the advent of the Equinox. Taking a day trip out to the nether finger of the northern shore, we visited the bountiful produce markets awash with Fall mums, multiple hued pumpkins and gourds of every shape and size. If we had taken more time, we'd have no doubt indulged in The Corn Maze (which if you ask me, smacks a bit too much of a Stephen King scenario--evil scarecrows and scythes, etc).Sunday, September 23, 2007
The Shadow of Fall
