MCFoG sent me a plethora of photos from the wedding. They are quite beautiful and they showcase not just the absolutely ethereal features of my friend in her wedding finery but frankly, the striking blue-eyed features of the family she married into. They are a good looking clan, very close. It's a Celtic connection and for the wedding, the men were decked out in the family kilt. I enjoyed this group; they are frank and warm and genuinely good people. I don't say that about too many folk but I liked this family. Good souls, all of them.
Y'all know I'm a perv--proudly--and naturally I asked the male members of the wedding to give me a "Braveheart." I was hoping for a bare ass shot. After enough ale, they capitulated, Ironically, the most conservative member of the family went bare assed yet the remaining were properly drawered. No one has deigned to send me that picture yet. Perhaps they are mindful that I won't be able to resist posting it here and well, that's a fair assessment. I would. Still, my darling MCFoG may give in to my entreaties and ask her sister in law to send it to me because it was a mighty fine collection of bottoms.
So with this in mind, I present a delightful photo that the bride has given me leave to post--an end of the night group shot. Yes, a few beers have been consumed and the hour is late. But the euphoria--that is evident. We all felt it.

I love Celtic weddings. My wedding was a Celtic wedding, too! My husband and his family wore the family tartan and we had the bagpipes playing.
