Now For Something Completely Different

So how do you top an otherworldly Friday night? Despite your fuzzy head, stiff limbs and limited hearing capabilities, you get in your trusty vehicle on a bright spring morning such as today's and you head towards Westchester to go to Stu Leonard's in Yonkers.
Hollaback Girl has talked up this place in great detail and indeed, it did not disappoint. Sitting high at the top of a cresting venue, this specialty grocery (which looks like an imposing Disneyfied dairy) was straight out of the 1970s, exhibiting cheesy and charming kitsch at its very best. Bounties of beautiful produce, sheltering trees dangling heavy faux fruit, talking mechanical cows and singing trees and a banana doing a rhumba, braying cows, petting zoos and really, REALLY cheerful employees. That's to say nothing of the generous sampling of foods offered. During the stroll through the store (which is organized like museum walk so you walk in one direction to get from the start to finish without distraction), I sampled Wisconsin cheddar cheese, organic granola, crab salad, a homemade potato chip, bran muffins, snap peas, clam chowder and pastrami. I nearly had a full meal grocery shopping in Stew Leonard's.
Can you imagine anything nicer on such a gorgeous Saturday?

How was the potato chip? Did they give you only one? That is just soooo wrong.

Yes, just one. But it was the size of a camel's tongue, so in fact it was more than generous.
