Brunch

Hollaback and her girl Claudia hosted a lovely brunch today in her fabulous apartment in Inwood (a part of Manhattan that no one seems to know). There was an incredible buffet of food: a massive ham, two kinds of baked egg dishes, multiple salads, a buffet of baked goods and many choices of beverages. It was a warm day and the apartment was packed with fabulous, interesting people. I caught up with former colleagues and fond friends. The only downside--when people asked me about my life, I didn't have much to say. My personal life, my work life--not much to say there. Good thing the conversation focused on things like theater, film, food and culture. That I can talk about at length.
