My favorite song of all time has been (and I suspect, will always be) Hoagy Carmichael's "Stardust." The bittersweet melody and haunting lyrics rarely fail to move me. Nat King Cole's version is my very favorite. A little listen to this version restores my spirits beyond any other kind of therapy when I most need it.
