My Suddenly Glamorous Home

Christo sent me an e-mail today alerting me to an Angelina sighting in my building. A photo of the uber-celebrity mom/actress exiting the heavy Gothic doors of The Riviera, my humble abode, was posted on a blog and he sent me the link. Minutes later, I started getting random e-mails from other friends with furtive messages--"Isn't this your building?" Why. Yes. It is.

I've been out of town on business the last two days but on my return home from work tonight, I interrogated Juan the doorman. "Oh yes," he bemoaned, "the press has been awful. They are all over, trying to get information about her. We've been instructed to keep quiet. She was here yesterday and surrounded by a lot of very burly security people." Goodness--my humble old Gothic pile is suddenly a hot spot! The filming starts in the building in March. I may have to do some lurking, if only for some blogworthy postings.

The story made the Daily News and then it got picked up by multiple media outlets throughout the day. The building super was rather thrilled that he was quoted. The neighborhood is abuzz.

Maybe this will drive up the resale property values.

What cracked me up is that the story the gossip blogs and rags originally reported was that Brangelina had found a home in Washington Heights. Sort of tells you how accurate that reporting is, doesn't it? I loves me some Angelina Jolie, but I do hope you'll keep an eye on and post accounts pertaining the the burly security force. Sounds hot!

Dude, I am so down with that. Yes, I like the celebrity bank of seeing Angelina in the Lobby, but I want to check out the security detail too! One of my colleagues suggested I offer to babysit Zahara and Maddox...at the bargain rate of $1500 an hour! DONE!
