I'm between crushes right now so it's only natural my next one would show up when I least expect it. And he did.Being a fan of English monarchical history, we rented "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" the other night. Playing Sir Walter Raleigh? The utterly divine Clive Owen (above).
How could I have been blind to this man's charms for so long? My mother recommended him years ago when he first appeared onscreen in "The Croupier."
I placated my mother but the truth was, he was too clean cut. I like my men a little more rough and considerably more dangerous. In the aforementioned film, Owen's character was charming and dangerous and satisfactorily tousled. Lord have mercy. As current crush material, he will certainly do.
I've been hanging on to an old crush for far too long. Keith Lockhart, the conductor of The Boston Pops, has always held a special place in my heart. On the night I deemed new crush status on Mr. Owen, we happened to catch the 4th of July televised celebration with the famous Boston Pops. Mr. Lockhart didn't look his usual handsome self. Symbolically, on the night my new crush ascended, my old one stepped down.

Clive is rough & tumble in Sin City... Rent it now & be prepared for a bloody mess. But he's very sexy.
Oh, I know.
I love the quick turnaround of NetFlix.
Can you give me some female equivalent so i can comment on this post. They just don't do it for me.
