I had such high hopes for this album, but it's still way overproduced and just meh for me. They need to blur out Michael's lyrics or something...his voice is way too clear.
And when did Mike Mills get to be the best looking member of the band? No offense to Ingrid, if she's reading...
Really? I like this song but I confess I am something of a musical wanton. I liked the melody and I am a sucker for Michael Stipe's voice. He could recite the ingredients list from the back of a box of Chex cereal and I'd buy it. There is something about the resonance. Thick with irony or some such.
Well, Jules, I'll defer to your opinion. Your background in that whole Athens music scene (to say nothing of your fluency in French) renders me humble.
