Hello, people. I've been embroiled for the last eight days in an absolutely intense schedule. I do believe this is the longest period ever that I haven't blogged. The truth is, I was embroiled in a particularly inspired work meeting that required long periods of dedicated time. I didn't watch TV. I didn't read the newspaper. I was truly entrenched. I want to share this experience with you but it won't be tonight. The truth be told, I dragged my ass home from California in the wee hours today, slept for 4 hours, schlepped to work and got home later than I would have wanted. I felt OK, but I looked like the cats ass all day. If you can bear with me till tomorrow, we'll catch up. In the meantime please enjoy this incredible song. On the plane East last night Norma was compiling a list of top hip hop songs for one of her colleagues (and props to her--she is incredibly well versed in some really great current stuff). She turned me onto this fantastic song. Great rift and then you add in the fucking awesome Jill Scott? It totally kicks it.
