As the day ebbs to a close on this most interesting year, I keep thinking of the series of quotes from Emerson on friendship. I realize now more than ever what treasures my friends are. When I look back at this year, most of the high points took place in the company of friends whether old friends or new friends that I came to know this year. 2007 has been richer because of these experiences and because of those of you who are part of my life. I thank you wholeheartedly.
In the new year, I'm counting on colorful gossip, trash talk, sex stories, music enlightenment, any old excuse for a laugh, diatribes about our families and our work, cooking tips and the evolution of our lives as friends.

Happy New Year, Chicken! May 2008 bring you the best of all things.
2007 was a blast in so many ways!! I discovered chat rooms and had some really fun nights with you and the two gals above me (and others who will no doubt leave a comment after me!).
I enjoyed our escapade at the NYC booksigning where we made the bookstore gestapo nervous by hanging around the big, important celebrity's table too long.
You all made 2007 bearable for me. Looking forward to 2008!
