This aria from "The Magic Flute" has been in my head for days. Only the great Luciana Serra could deliver it so flawlessly. I understand this is one of the most difficult arias ever for a soprano to master. Go on--you try it.

I did try it, which prompted Rosie to call it "ear plug music." She promptly got a spanking. ;-)
I love this aria, seriously. But I love her hat even more than the aria. So frickin' cool.
Bravo! I hadn't thought of this since my voice coach asked me to try...hmmmmm... wonder why he hasn't mentioned it again? It is indeed very difficult to master.
BTW, now I can't think of any thing else.
We listened to it twice. Declan wanted to know if she was speaking German. Then he commented that it was "incredible"--we can hear her all the way to Georgia. I tried to explain to him it was a recording but he wouldn't have it. As proof he put my hand on the speaker and said it was just like sitting in Ms. Adam's lap when she was singing.
Mary, I'm in Georgia, too!
