Man's World My Ass

My brother Marv is obsessed with this slightly surreal juxtaposition of soul and opera. I'm not quite getting it (copious violins are scary mediums) but I do appreciate the musicality of both artists. There's high camp here to be sure so just enjoy that sweet aspect...especially when the duets overlap. It's super freaky-deaky.

Wow... I don't know if i like it or not! It's good... it's really good but it's a tad weird as well.
I guess i have to get used to it!

I just watched it again...and it's growing on me...
Maybe i'm the one that's freaky-deaky! hahaha

Huh. I kinda like it.

This is nowhere near as freaky-deaky as the pairing of Taylor Hicks and Snoop Dogg. I'm still scratchin my head over that one:

Damn, I just watched the TH & SD video again. CW, look for some awesome hip action from Taylor!

In an odd way, these two were kindred spirits....what's really odd is that they are both gone.

I agree with you all. It's a curious blending that draws one in. Is it high camp? Is it a new level of art? Is it genius pairing? I dunno, but I can't quite figure if I actually like it. I'm staying with my original statement (which can be either good or bad): it's freaky deaky.

Now if I had my druthers, I'd rather these two would have done a duo of "Sex Machine."
