Forgive me this bye tonight people, but alas, I walked into my apartment this evening and discovered my cat was seriously ailing. This feline is she who we call The Bunny, the widowed sibling of the recently deceased Figaro. She was weak and listless, incontinent and confused. She won't eat. She won't take liquids. And she has an OCD-like pattern of wandering into her catbox without leaving a deposit. And the yowling is constant. It breaks my heart.I already called the vet. I'll try to get in tomorrow. She's long had a case of Ronald Reagan worthy Alzheimer's disease (that would make me her Nancy). I think my old girl can bounce back given Dr. Plotnik's gentle ministrations, but it's upsetting just the same. She's far too sweet and gentle to have to assume the mantle of this nonsense, but then again, she's 95 years old in human years.
I'll keep you posted.

At least the dear still has her hair. My Bitsy whom I bottle raised is losing her hair. Bitsy has suffered from some form of Cat dementia for the last several years, she's wierd and has strange ways but we indulge her. Now she's developed some form of allergy to her own hair and is going bald from the rear end up. Man, it's sad. She too, from time to time suffers from incontinence. We're contemplating what to do with her.
I understand where you're coming from with your cat.
I hope you get her to the vet today. This could be a bladder obstruction that's painful to her. Sending warm and healing thoughts her way.
My cat gets frequent bladder infections ad behaves that way. Bless her heart, she must be in so much pain. Hope it goes well.
Get well wishes for Bunny!!!
Awe, poor kitty!
