Day of the Iguana

Today after an early morning workout at the hotel gym and a breakfast of vibrant fresh fruit, we made our way to the pool for a day of sun worship. After an hour of quiet repose, a squadron of iguanas of every imaginable size came flooding down from the bushes to the edges of the pool. They sunned themselves and trolled the landscaping to nibble on the dropped flowers from the hibiscus bushes. Seeing them on their slow methodical march toward the water, I could almost hear Flight of the Valkyries heralding them welcome. I documented their visit.

Hey C&W, I've been away for a while, only to come back to find you on a relaxing and well deserved vacation in the carribbean. The scenery is heavenly and the drinks are plentiful. Enjoy the Virgin Islands and try to leave them as virgins.

Holy crap! That's...what? Wild! Do you think your geriatric cat and home-invading mouse would get along with one of those little critters? Can you fit one in your carry-on?

Wow, those ones seem friendlier than the ones in Aruba. They were all over the resort there like squirrels, but not as close as my chair!

Dang, CW, you are so dedicated! Working out first thing in the morning on vacation? Very impressive.
