MEAT!

In an effort to get healthy,
I'm eating lots of fish
I'd prefer a piece of cow flesh
Thick, marbled and delish

A nice slab of rare prime rib
Maybe hanger or a fine filet?
Chateaubriand or a flank cut
And flat iron? Hello? Everyday!

I'd savor a fine rib eye
Perhaps some rump, throw in the round
A skirt, a strip and sister cube
Some chuck I can thoroughly pound

The porterhouse is the grandad
The T-bone, the old boys club
The sirloin is the conservative
Kobe, darling of upscale grub

I'll entertain a London Broil
I'll stir fry a julienned strip
I'll juggle surf and turf deftly
Steak tartare, I'd rather skip

Tenderloins wrapped in bacon
Bistecca alla fiorentina, so nice
Steak au poive is a sweet classic
Steak Frites is a serious vice

Steak and kidney pie, childish comfort
Chicken fried steak, a cholesterol ball
Carne asada, so muy caliente
Tube steak delight, well, that says it all

Swiss steak is expectantly neutral
Pepper steak bites back with a snap
Blackened steak; bitch has attitude
Dutch spiced beef--admit it, it's crap

Course I'll never be a vegetarian
If I was, I know I'd cheat
And why shouldn't we eat animals?
After all, they're made of meat.

Karen! I don't know you but I was in Norfolk, too. How'd you meet Taylor? I had a meet and greet which was ackward and unnatural and almost like not meeting him at all. What's your story?

BTW, Julie, you're making my mouth water.
