One Time Only

I am not one of those people who will willfully post a photograph of someone I admire with that breathless glee that often characterizes...a fan. I'm uncomfortable being called a fan because to me the term conjures up images of squealy and delirious teenage girls. I am clearly none of those things. However, when a friend posted this photograph on her blog, I had to borrow it. It's not often that a musician I admire sports the jersey of my favorite baseball team. When this kismet occurs, it should be documented somewhere. If you insist on calling this a foray into fandom, then I'll own up to it this time. And I promise it won't happen again.
