Classic Ballpark

In my life, I have made it a practice (during the on-season) to visit as many classic ballparks as I can. I have been to the Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, the old Yankees Stadium, Shea Stadium and many other playing fields of baseball's national and american leagues.

I saw many San Francisco Giants games at Candlestick Park. To my great regret, I had already moved to New York before the glossy grounds of Pac Bell Park opened. It's been on my short life list to see a game here; as I passed it yesterday and it stood in its post/pre season dormancy, I gazed at its pristine surroundings with wonder. I may have to schedule another trip to California.

Say, in May.

  3. How about a Braves game? We have a great stadium--the team? Always the bridesmaid, rarely the bride.t
